DNA Breakdown

A complete action fingerprint for any player — how they actually spend their time on the pitch, broken down into 4 dimensions and 6 action groups.

The 4 DNA Dimensions

Management

Passing, receiving, build-up involvement — how much the player manages the ball.

Progression

Progressive passes, progressive runs, forward carries — driving the ball toward goal.

Defense

Defensive actions, duels, interceptions, aerial battles — defensive contribution volume.

Decision

Key passes, xA, shots, assists — high-impact creative and finishing actions.

Each dimension shows % of total actions per 90 and a percentile rank within the position pool.

6 Action Groups

Defensive Actions

% of total actions / 90

Passing

% of total actions / 90

Receiving

% of total actions / 90

% of total actions / 90

Creation

% of total actions / 90

Finishing

% of total actions / 90

Intensity Score

The total volume of key actions per 90 minutes — a single number that captures how much a player is involved in the game. Calculated from an 8-column unified formula:

Passes + Received passes
Duels + Interceptions
Shots + Shots blocked
Progressive runs + Fouls

Why It Matters

Two players with identical Xscores can have completely different DNA profiles. One is a high-volume ball manager, the other a low-touch high-impact decision-maker. DNA Breakdown reveals the playing style behind the numbers — essential for tactical fit assessment.
